Eschewing the post-nuclear havens such as Agurts and Omanga, they wander the Gray Zones in gritty self-reliance. The Luggans generally do not mix with the motley masses of the Gray Zones, who regard them as cold and calculating. They are excellent hunters who turn dangerous and exotic wildlife into prized delicacies. Their offal recipes are renowned even beyond the Gray Zones. Despite their poor reputation, the Luggans are undeniably the best wilderness guides of the Acid Rain Era. Those without national armies or corporate mercenaries to rely on seek their help to transport goods across the inhospitable Gray Zones.
